Melissa and I connected in 2020 through a community group and have stayed in contact ever since. We switch from being clients of one another's to cheering the other on from the sidelines. So, when she came to me with an idea to rebrand, I knew it would be a great partnership. Melissa had grown an audience through her social channels and was ready to define her visual branding and take her business to the next level.
We were able to hone in on how she wanted her business to be presented and what templates she needed to keep her content consistent. To take it a step further, I set her up on flodesk, a great email platform, with templates and audience segmentation to enhance her customer's journey. This brand design project allowed Melissa to clarify her brand's identity in an aligned way and grow her email list through targeted messaging.

After using her branding for awhile, Melissa reached back out to design and launch a website to support her business' growth. She wanted a multi-page website and store to start selling digital products. To start a project like this, I send my client's an outline of each page we've agreed to with the content I'll need. Melissa was a stellar client as she used to be an english teacher and provided ample copy to use.
Once the content is provided, it's time to design! Since I had done Melissa's branding and fully understood her vibe, I had a head start. From there, I worked on functionality, how to tell her story leveraging the copy she wrote, and creating a flow for viewers to the places we had identified (the store, her substack, and booking a service). Check out the final product here - I think it represents Melissa's next level in such a wonderful way.
